I was born in Hong Kong, during the time when England still colonized the small island. Before working in film, I practised in Architecture. Since 9 years ago, I had followed my passion in creating spaces for story-telling.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with teams from different countries, and projects of various budgets. I am adaptive with the design methods unique to each team. Not only that, but I like to work outside my comfort zone and accept challenges.
Furthermore, I owe my best work to the great production designers who pushed me along, including Deborah Riley, Jan Roelfs, Adam Stockhausen, Kave Quinn and Luke Hull.
I like to spend my free time with my daughter, and am an active mentor for newcomers in the art department.
I have the right to work in Spain, UK and Hong Kong.
Nací en Hong Kong, durante la época de colonización británica. Antes de comenzar a trabajar en la industria cinematográfica, me formé y ejercí como arquitecto. Desde hace 9 años desempeño mi pasión por el espacio narrativo a través del diseño escenográfico.
He tenido la oportunidad de trabajar con equipos internacionales y en proyectos de presupuestos variados. Soy flexible con las metodologías de diseño que existen en cada equipo. Me gusta trabajar fuera de mi zona de confort y aceptar retos.
Debo mi formación a los prestigiosos diseñadores de producción Deborah Riley, Jan Roelfs, Adam Stockhausen, Kave Quinn y Luke Hull.
Me gusta pasar mi tiempo libre con mi hija y ser mentor para los nuevos integrantes del departamento de arte.
